Workforce Training Fund Program
The Workforce Training Fund Express Program provides fast, flexible training grants to help Massachusetts businesses upskill employees and stay competitive. Designed for small to mid-sized employers, the Express Program offers a streamlined application process with rolling submissions, quick approvals, and reimbursements of up to $15,000 per calendar year. Among the offerings available through Strategic Calls are specialized courses in lead generation and telephone-based sales skills—including the Jump-start System training, an approved course that equips teams with a structured, high-performing outreach process. Employers select from pre-approved training courses in the Express Directory and may be eligible for up to 100% reimbursement. To apply, businesses must be current on all unemployment insurance obligations and submit a valid DUA Certificate of Compliance issued within the past 30 days. What you’ll need to apply for the grant:
- Your EIN number
- Your DUA number ( that’s your 8-digit unemployment number you use or payroll )
- A completed W9
- A Certificate of Good Standing from MA Tax Connect
- A Certificate of Compliance from the DUA/Unemployment (Paychex can help you get this document)
